Science has taken us far, particularly in recent decades. The internet, the iPod, the iPhone and electric cars have all put their stamp on the modern world as we know it; artificial intelligence may well be the future. So it’s easy to see why we often overlook seemingly smaller steps we’ve taken. One such wonder is the conception of compressed towel tablets.

Prospector Co. developed a towel the size of a regular kitchen towel that expands from a pill with the addition of a few drops of water. As a traveler, you’ll never find yourself cold or wet for prolonged periods again.

The cotton fiber compressed pills decompress with the addition of a sprinkling of water. These convenient dish towel-sized rags make personal care a tremendously easy experience when on the road. Packing a towel can seem like such a nuisance when you’re trying to cram all your belongings into a rucksack that always seems too small. Well not anymore.

They’re less expensive than a regular towel, making the purchase all the more sensible when deciding what exactly you need to bring on the road with you. You can afford to pack that book you thought you’d never read, or that picture frame of your family or lover you thought you’d have to leave behind.
