When it comes to buying the perfect travel duffel bag for long road trips or weekends away, a traveler is never without options. But what if the next bag you buy comes from a place of sustainability, reusability and environmental and social awareness?

Travel gear company Cotopaxi follows a philosophy of “gear for good,” made with unused scraps and materials from around the world and turned into new clothing and accessories for adventure travelers. One of its products is an adept and sturdy travel accessory with a lot of packing power. The Chumpi travel duffel offers 50 liters of space inside its main compartment. A strong cotton/nylon canvas exterior provides protection for the one-pound bag and its contents, with dimensions of 24 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches. The removable shoulder straps and grab handles provide two distinct carrying options depending on desired comfort and toting circumstances.

The Chumpi travel duffel comes in three colors (raven, fiery red and cargo) and can be purchased on Cotopaxi’s website for $119.95.

Cotopaxi’s products are made using sustainable practices by workers who operate in fair and safe conditions. What’s more, Cotopaxi also donates 2 percent of its revenue to help combat poverty around the globe, and they offer grants to international non-profit organizations.
