Outer Banks-based Sanderling Resort recently partnered with Duck Donuts for a limited experience for stays through June 30. The experience, The Sweet Escape, sees Duck Donuts take over a junior ocean suite and redesign the space to make it a donut lover’s paradise.

The experience provides guests freshly prepared donuts throughout the stay to enjoy while watching the sunrise each morning. The suite will also feature themed wallpaper and artwork, as well as donut-shaped pillows and soaps. To ensure a high-spirited stay, colorful decorations adorn the entire suite.
Upon arrival, guests can find The Sandy Duck Assortment, exclusively for guests of The Sweet Escape experience. The assortment is conveniently set throughout the room for easy access. Additionally, guests can sample Duck Donuts’ made-to-order menu of limitless flavor and topping combinations. Guests can not only schedule a donut wake-up call through a dedicated donut concierge but can also enjoy an in-room coffee bar stocked with Duck Donuts coffee and donut decorating kits.

Other goodies offered in the experience include donut pool floats, co-branded Duck Donuts and Sanderling Resort beach towels, and a beach tote filled with Duck Donut goodies. Guests also receive an insider look at the history of Duck Donuts with a behind-the-scenes tour of the original Duck Donut store in Duck, North Carolina.
Duck Donuts and Sanderling Resort wrap up this unique experience with a social media giveaway starting at 10 a.m. ET June 23 and ending June 30. The winner will enjoy a four-night stay at Sanderling Resort and a Sanderling and Duck Donuts welcome kit. Starting June 23, anyone can enter the sweepstakes on the @duckdonuts and @sanderlingresort Instagram pages by liking and tagging a friend on the designated social media posts associated with the giveaway.
