GreenChef is an organic meal kit delivery service. Fresh, organic ingredients and healthy, chef-created recipes arrive right to your front door.
Here’s how it works: Create an account specifying your dietary and delivery preferences. GreenChef will send you the pre-measured ingredients and recipe cards for three dinners. Following the instructions, you cook your meal in just about 30 minutes.
GreenChef accommodates six different dietary needs: Vegetarian, omnivore, vegan, carnivore, gluten-free and paleo. Pricing is based on the dietary plan you choose and how many people will be eating each dish (two, four or six people). Each box contains three recipes. Prices range from $10.49 per meal for the vegetarian plan up through $14.99 per meal for the paleo plan. An additional $9 shipping and handling fee is applied to each box. You can skip or cancel at any time before your weekly cut off time (by 12 p.m. EST seven days prior to your delivery day). GreenChef currently delivers only within the continental United States.
Sample menus include summer minestrone, Vietnamese noodle bowl, blueberry-kale salad, cumin-grilled chicken and steak bistro sandwich. GreenChef uses products from local, sustainable and artisanal suppliers.
