For backpackers who want to stay stylish on the go, the Go Travel Dress provides a near-perfect solution. Each dress is lightweight, odor-blocking, wrinkle-resistant and adjustable. It also comes with a feature that will thrill dress-wearing women the world over — pockets.

The Go Travel Dress originally launched on Kickstarter and was fully funded within its first 24 hours.

“During the production of our previously successful campaign, the Kosan Travel Pack System, we traveled to Vietnam to make and test the product,” said Karyna Mclaren, co-founder, Kosan Travel Co., maker of Go Travel Dress. “While I was there, I struggled to find any stylish, yet super functional, travel outfits that didn’t make me feel sweaty or uncomfortable. We wanted to see if other travelers had the same issue so we polled hundreds of women and discovered that they did. As a result, we decided to make the perfect travel dress to make traveling easier, more enjoyable and more comfortable. We created the Go Travel Dress for jet-setters who seek out new experiences and new places, fashionably and comfortably.”

The Go Travel Dress has 14 different features all geared toward helping travelers stay comfortable, organized and fashionable all at the same time. The dress has two adjustable lengths for either a casual or more formal look. The four hidden pockets can hide cash and cards or just your everyday necessities; these pockets include two large, side pockets with invisible zippers and two pockets in the bust area.

The fabric is a four-way stretch material, treated with an antibacterial finish to prevent odors if you don’t have access to laundry facilities. When you do get a chance to wash the dress, though, the quick-dry fabric is shrink-resistant, so you can just throw it in any dryer, no need for a dry cleaner. Additionally, the fabric is rated 40+ UPF and has a moisture-wicking technology, so you can wear it in the heat with no problems.

You can currently pre-order the Go Travel Dress for $112.

Foods to Pack for a Long-Haul Flight (and How to Get Them Through Security)

As airlines start nickel and dime-ing their way into the world’s wallets, travelers have had to get crafty in order to get around newly enacted add-on fees, especially when it comes to in-flight meals. Since this luxury is no longer guaranteed on some flights, particularly on low-cost, long-haul vessels, and because airport food is notoriously overpriced, passengers pack their own food to bring on these long flights. But what types of food are allowed to pass through security and also last multiple hours on a plane in varying temperatures?

Hotel Zeppelin, San Francisco

I lived in San Francisco during college so coming to visit the city and see all the changes was exciting. The Hotel Zeppelin was built in a once slightly shabby area that has since come alive with new hotels and restaurants for travelers looking for something different. We arrived at noon on a Friday afternoon and were immediately greeted by the hotel staff at the front desk. They were able to accommodate an early check-in, completed in just a few minutes. The lobby is as hip as the hotel name sounds, but it also offered a cozy atmosphere, with a roaring fire and comfy couches and chairs in the lounge area. Unique wall art, statues and lighting remind you of the cool factor.

Road Trips in Northern Ireland

Renting a car will give you the freedom to explore Northern Ireland, small enough to be accessible even for those on shorter trips.

Work and Play in Italy

ONCE THE FINAL MEETING WRAPS and the last contract is signed and sealed with a handshake, what’s next? Do you catch a flight back home or do you take advantage of the destination? If your next business trip is to Italy, we suggest adding a few more days to explore the country’s most amazing hot spots. Make time for more than a mouthwater- ing Italian meal in these three cities.

Museums in Italy

While there are about as many museums in Italy as pieces of art, there are more than a few you should add to your must-see list ahead of your next (or first!) trip. Work your way through the country’s rich history in the arts with this list of suggestions.
