Don’t let summer slip away without enjoying Dulce Vida tequila. Dulce Vida, a USDA-certified organic brand, offers a range of tequilas made with 100 percent Blue Weber agave. The premium spirits brand, founded in Austin, Texas, in 2009, is produced in Jalisco, Mexico, in the village of San Ignacio Cerra Gordo. Sustainability and attention to detail are at the heart of every step, from harvest to distillation to aging. The expansive portfolio includes a core range of Blanco Resposado and Añejo tequila.

Dulce Vida also offers infused tequila made with real fruit. Flavors include pineapple jalapeño, lime and grapefruit. Additionally, Dulce Vida offers ready-to-drink cocktails including paloma, margarita and watermelon margarita. If the ready-to-drink cocktails aren’t for you, here are some recipes perfect for tequila lovers to enjoy:

Dulce Vida Prickly Pear

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Dulce Vida Blanco Tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • ¾ Prickly Pear Cordial
  • Tajin
  • Cucumber

Line the rim with Tajin, then, using a peeler, make a long cucumber swath and place it along the inside of the glass before placing a large ice cube inside. Add all ingredients into a shaker, fill to the top with ice and shake for eight seconds. Double strain into the glass with the ice and cucumber peel.

Dulce Vida Bloody Maria

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Dulce Vida Blanco Tequila
  • Spicy Bloody Mary mix
  • Pickle

Pour tequila into a Collins glass, top with ice and fill to the top with Bloody Mary mix. Place the pickle inside and enjoy. Pro tip: If you save the pickle and eat it at the end, you can enjoy the taste of the infusion.

Dulce Vida Sweet Heat

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeño Tequila
  • 4 ounces sparkling water
  • Pineapple wedge

Pour tequila in a Collins glass, top with ice and fill to the top with sparkling water. Lastly, place the pineapple wedge on the slide of the glass.

The Green Dragon

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ ounces Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeño Tequila
  • ½ ounce Ancho Chile Liqueur
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 2 ounces Lychee drink
  • Splash of soda

Combine all ingredients but the soda into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice. Add splash of soda for taste.
