Livability.com, the website ranking the most livable small and mid-size cities in the United States, recently released the results of its Top 10 Best Downtowns for 2016.
Livability.com analyzed data on more than 2,000 small to mid-size cities from Esri, the Census Bureau, the United States Department of Agriculture and other sources. Figures taken into account for the ranking include new development, arts and culture, nightlife, parks, rising population, rising incomes, affordability and diversity. After creating a shortlist based on these numbers, editors refine that list delivering the Top 10 based on research, experiences and diversity.
