Trends / Unique Itineraries & Tours

Even if you don’t watch HGTV you probably know who Chip and Joanna Gaines are. Chip and Joanna are known from their home renovation show Fixer Upper, which became extremely popular during its run. Throughout the five seasons, Chip and Joanna grew their Magnolia brand from a tv show to much more.

Chip and Joanna live in Waco, Texas, where the show was based. In 2015, they opened Magnolia Market at the Silos to bring their fans a place to shop all their favorite products and enjoy a nice place to hang out.

On a trip to Magnolia Market you can expect to shop, relax, eat and play. First, head to the Magnolia shop; there you can search for that perfect item for your home. The store’s main goal is to inspire shoppers to own the space they are in. Shop anything from candles to furniture, to paint to merchandise; you are bound to fall in love with something. Head outside to the seed shop and pick out some of your favorite flower seeds to grow at home.

After shopping, head to the lawn for games and food. Engage in a competitive game of corn hole, throw a football around or try one of the other lawn games. After working up an appetite, check the array of food trucks lined up. There are a bunch of different types to cater to everyone’s taste buds.

Before you leave, make sure to stop by Silos Bakery to enjoy a tasty treat and snap a picture with the famous silos from the show.

Leave Troublesome Rideshare Worries Behind

We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
