There’s nothing quite like arriving to a campsite or tailgate and popping open that first can of ice-cold beer. But often the harsh rays of the sun or simply distance from a cool environment can make the beer go stale, warming it to a non-tasty and undrinkable room temperature. The minds at ManCan developed a product that targets this stale beer taste by preventing your beer from ever getting cold in the first place.

ManCan’s Picnic Keg is a steel cylinder that holds up to one gallon (yes gallon) of beer. The can/keg is the perfect size to fit into a cooler where it can keep 128 ounces of beer cold both in and out of the cooler. Instead of toting a 12- or 24-pack of beer along for the ride, the Picnic Keg saves room in your cooler and saves waste.

The Picnic Keg was designed by beer brewers and made of the same material as regular kegs (304 stainless steel). The steel keeps the taste intact by preserving flavors and carbonation, plus provides an indestructible outer layer that lasts a lifetime (warranty included). The cap seals on tight, preventing carbon dioxide from escaping and compromising the taste of the beer.

ManCan’s Picnic Keg can be purchased on the ManCan website for $70, plus shipping and handling.
