Samsara Aluminum Smart Suitcase

This carry-on aluminum suitcase looks the part and comes packed with smart features. Aluminum suitcases have long been known for durability, but they previously came at a premium price. Samsara offers the same high quality, but is much cheaper than its rivals.

The materials stand up to the most strenuous use, and the suitcase has plenty of features that will make you want to take it everywhere. The unique wheel design makes for smooth movement, and even increases the interior packing space by 4 liters.

Samsara also developed an app that accompanies the suitcase and manages the smart features. The first means you will receive a notification to your smartphone if your suitcase moves away from you, and the second sends a notification if the case is opened out of your sight.

A built-in battery pack means you can charge your smartphone and laptop on the move, and there’s an LED light inside the case that will turn on automatically in dark conditions. The Samsara also ships with packing bags, a garment bag, a toiletries bag and a folding gym bag to keep your stuff well organized.

The Samsara will retail for $590 after a huge Kickstarter campaign.
