If you travel a lot and constantly need to sleep during inopportune hours, you know what a pain it can be trying to catch up on your winks during the daytime. Whether you’re trying to sleep early in the day so you’re refreshed to catch that late-night flight or you’re recouping from a red-eye at home, sleeping while the sun’s still up can be difficult. If you’ve tried remedying the situation with some blackout curtains, you may have found they hardly do anything, but a new product hopes to change that.

The Sleepout Curtain is totally portable and installs in seconds on any window (so you could potentially take it on the go and use it in your hotel or homestay!). The 100 percent blackout, thermal and sound-insulating curtain has been well-reviewed by sleep consultants and was even used at the 2022 Olympics to help Olympians get their much-needed shut-eye.

The curtain attaches with industrial-strength suction cups and fastener strips, and comes in its own duffel bag. Each curtain is 4.5 by 6.5 feet. The design allows for adjustments to various window sizes and installs vertically or horizontally.
