With the Field Knife Set from Tiktaalik, passionate chefs need no longer compromise on the quality of their tools when cooking in the wilderness.

Camping trips used to mean dehydrated meals and hastily prepared sandwiches featuring combinations of ingredients not often seen in civilization. Add a new culinary dimension to your wilderness adventure with the Field Knife Set.
Thanks to adventure gear company Tiktaalik, high-quality chef’s knives just became a whole lot more portable. Currently subject to a Kickstarter campaign, the Field Knife Set is a set of three knives specially adapted to make them perfect for cooking while camping.
Tiktaalik took the three most common kitchen knives and made them smaller, more lightweight and easier to clean, in large part by removing the cumbersome handles. As the handle is no thicker than the blade itself, the three knives essentially take up the same space as one kitchen knife.
A small paring knife, a serrated knife and a compact chef’s knife mean your principal cooking needs will be addressed, packaged inside a compact aluminum case which is both safe and easy to pack. The Field Knife Set comes with a cutting board included, meaning you have everything you need to make more sophisticated meals with ease.

Spain’s Renfe Talgo High-Speed Train

Europe is known for its high-speed train travel, a mode of transportation that can take you across the continent in a flash. In Spain, Renfe’s “Talgo” can propel you across the country with speeds between 99 to 124 mph. The Taglo train can cut your transit time almost in half; for example, traveling from Barcelona to Valencia by car or bus can take up to six hours, but a seat onboard the Talgo train can reduce this travel time to 3.5 hours.
