In Norfolk, England, travelers can now visit and stay in Middleton Castle for the first time ever. Built during the Wars of the Roses in the 15th century under King Henry VI, this magnificent castle towers over the green fields of the countryside with its stone parapets.

Now, under careful management of ALTIDO, part of DoveVivo group, Middleton Castle welcomes visitors to stay for days, weeks or even months within the restored, Grade I-listed building. Located 3 miles from King’s Lynn, the castle sleeps up to 30 guests across 15 bedrooms.

Accommodations also include two separate lodges: The Lodge and Keepers Cottage, ideal for large groups, retreats and weddings. Within guestrooms, expect historical touches to make you feel like a king or queen, with freestanding bathtubs, ornate paintings, elegant drapery and lush beds.
The property features a billiards room, summer house, croquet lawn, oak-paneled dining room, reception rooms and more.

“We’re delighted to be opening the doors of this historic property,” said Will Parry, CEO, ALTIDO. “A castle of such proportion and size offers guests a luxurious, secluded retreat that doesn’t compromise when it comes to character and space. Our team will be using all their expertise to combine modern-day hospitality with a property that’s so old it predates the Tudors.”
