With various iconic cities and diverse landscapes, beautiful hotels in America are not hard to find. But like anything else, some are simply more beautiful than others. From the rustic lodges in the Rocky Mountains to oceanfront resorts in Miami, we’ve compiled a list of the top five most beautiful hotels in America.
Halekulani
In Honolulu, Hawai’i, no hotel is as elegant as Halekulani. Besides its prime beach location, the beautiful whitewashed property is zen-like thanks to its well-kept, beautiful lush gardens that surround it. The newly renovated guestrooms are low key, with neutral décor allowing the views to take the cake. The beachfront freshwater pool captivates guests with an orchid, made out of 1.2 million pieces of blue glass at its center.
The Post Ranch Inn
The Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif., sits perched atop a cliff’s edge and is surrounded by thick redwood forest. All of the 39 stand-alone spacious and luxurious dwellings boast incredibly dramatic panoramas of the Big Sur coastline. The dwellings are also decked out with luxury amenities like outdoor showers, hot tubs, private terraces and fireplaces. The hotel includes two heated clifftop basking spas, a heated swimming pool and a spa.
The Ocean House
The Ocean House, in Watch Hill, R.I., is New England’s most storied oceanfront retreat. The Victorian-style property was restored in 2004 to its original design, down to window placements and interior wall hues. The hotel features a 12,000-square-foot spa, cinema and golf course. The property sits on the bluffs above a private white-sand beach, exclusive to guests.
The Setai
With The Setai’s high-rise appeal and the twist of Art Deco and Eastern architecture, the hotel feels like a trendy, urban hotel as opposed to a beachfront resort. The sleek façade is a refreshing contrast from its loud and boisterous South Beach neighbors. The Miami Beach hotel offers guests three pools heated at 75 degrees, 85 degrees and 90 degrees.
Amangiri Resort
The Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point, Utah, embraces the desert’s harsh landscape as the main pool wraps around an enormous sandstone butte. Inside, the concrete walls, rough furnishings and muted brown color palette reflect the dry setting. The 34 suites boast private courtyards with gorgeous desert views. The Amangiri Suite includes a desert-facing sky terrace and a 60-foot-long swimming pool.
