The idea of luggage sets may not be at the forefront of travelers’ minds, especially for those on a budget, but luggage company U.S. Traveler sells a coordinated two-piece, carry-on set that serves all packing needs in the exact dimensions and weight capacities allowed on flights.
From U.S. Traveler, the Rio luggage set includes one 21-inch expandable “personal item” and one 15-inch carry-on bag, both of which adhere to most airlines’ luggage policies for carry-on bags.
The bags are made from a durable yet expandable polyester fabric and include an extra zippered layer that allows up to 25 percent more interior space. Adjustable tie-down straps, a lined interior and two padded exterior pockets add three additional protective elements for your belongings. The smaller, 15-inch handbag is a convenient carry-all for smaller items such as liquids (which need to be easily accessible for security scans), books, charging devices and other personal items to be used in flight.
The Rio baggage set comes in five colors (green, mustard/orange, purple, red or royal blue) and retails for approximately $59.99 (depending on the color and availability). U.S. Traveler products can be purchased online at Amazon.com or eBags.com, or in Target or Walmart stores.
