Many travelers use the super popular app, Snapchat. This app is used to record videos or take pictures to add to your “story” or send to friends. For travelers, this a great app to use for sharing travels with friends and family and also a way to capture memories. All videos and photos are saved in “Memories” on Snapchat, which can be added to your camera roll as well.
Spectacles are video recording sunglasses made by Snap Inc, Snapchat’s company. These sunglasses can be used to take videos, hands-free. The video is taken from your perspective so it will record exactly what you see. To record, just press the button and it will record a 10-second video; for an additional 10 seconds press the button again. Then the video will appear in the app and from this point you’ll be able to do anything to it that can be done to regular videos. It’s possible to add captions and filters, and to zoom in or out. This video can then be sent to friends, added to your story or saved for later.
Instead of carrying around a phone that has the chance of being dropped, just throw on a pair of sunglasses and record a video. Avid Snapchat users will definitely love this product. It is a bit expensive at $129.99, but it’s so handy the price is worth it.
