Easter is coming up. Instead of staring at your distant relatives over a ham this holiday while your littlest relatives tear apart the yard looking for eggs whilst all amped up on Easter basket sugar, how about a getaway? These destinations around the world are waiting with a better option for your holiday.

The Wauwinet, Nantucket

For those of us who feel we’re getting a little left out on Easter now that we’re too old to get baskets full of chocolate and to painstakingly paint boiled eggs, The Wauwinet in Nantucket delivers an adult experience that’ll make your Easter almost as fun as it used to be. An Easter for Adults experience gives you Easter brunch for two, as well as dinner the night before, and then an adults-only egg hunt, with awesome prizes.

The Savoy, London

Maybe you want an upscale Easter. If that’s the case, you’ll want to book your Easter Sunday brunch at The Savoy. Kaspar’s at The Savoy serves an Easter brunch that mom’ll have a hard time competing with, as the menu includes an oyster shucking station, your favorite savory brunch items and holiday pastries. For those who sleep through brunch, there’s an Easter lunch the Monday after at Simpson’s in the Strand.

Bettoja Hotels, Rome

If Easter is one of the few times you get an extra day off work, maybe use the long weekend for a little getaway with your favorite person. All Bettoja Hotels in Rome give guests the opportunity to enjoy a romantic Easter picnic, courtesy of the hotels. You’ll receive a gourmet Easter picnic basket, with an Easter Casatiello Napoletano pizza, cheese and sausage pie, asparagus quiche, fruit, chocolate eggs and traditional Italian Easter cake.

Leave Troublesome Rideshare Worries Behind

We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
