I stayed at the AC Hotel Cuzco on a recent trip to Madrid. The property is part of the Spanish brand AC Hotels, under the larger Marriott brand.
I arrived to the hotel ahead of check-in after a long day of travel and was happy my room was ready. I grabbed my room key and made my way to my room on the 10th floor. The room décor reflected the brand’s modern, European design with hardwood floors, crisp white linens, modern grey furnishings and an overall elegant design. I always appreciate complimentary WiFi.
I took a short nap before heading out for the day’s events. The bed was comfortable and I later learned the brand’s mattresses are all made in Spain.
One of my favorite aspects of a hotel visit is the dining. I experienced the hotel’s tapas selection the first day of my stay. The freshly sliced jamón ibérico and lightly fried calamari were standouts. AC Hotels boast a signature gin and tonic cocktail, meticulously crafted by the superb bartenders. The version was one of the best I’ve ever tried. I enjoyed the hotel’s delightful breakfast during my stay. Located in the basement level of the hotel, the breakfast spread features a variety of Spanish and European favorites from tortilla española to pastries. Room service is available 24 hours, if that is more to your liking.
Meeting space and a fitness center are also available. There is a metro station conveniently located next to the hotel.
Whether your stay in Madrid is for business or leisure, AC Hotel Cuzco is an ideal choice.
