Reviews / Airline

In June I traveled back to Columbia, S.C., to visit friends after graduation and to bring home the rest of my belongings. I flew American Airlines from Philadelphia International Airport to Columbia Metropolitan Airport at 6:30 a.m. I arrived at the airport around 4:30 a.m. to ensure I had enough time to get through security — and, that early in the morning, I had no problem.
I walked around the airport in search of something to eat, noting many of the places were not yet open, before arriving to my gate. The gate agents began the boarding process on time and it went smoothly, despite the full flight. Those passengers with rollerboards and larger carry-ons were instructed to place their bags near the edge of the aircraft with a yellow tag. They were available for pickup on the jet bridge upon arrival.

We quickly boarded the American Eagle 13-row plane without any problems. The plane, a bit older, was fine for a short flight, as I sat on the aisle seat and had enough space. The friendly flight attendant made his announcements and said he would offer drinks if anyone needed one once we reaching cruising altitude. Overall, it was a relatively smooth flight, with maybe one or two bumps of turbulence.

We landed a few minutes ahead of schedule — what a quick and easy flight.
