Spiritual Retreats This Fall

There are spiritual retreats going on around the world at any time of the year. It has become such a phenomenon and it’s increasingly easier to find a retreat that matches your wants and can give you the restorative energy you need to continue in life. This fall, there are tons of spiritual retreats to choose from.

In October, there is a retreat going on in Greece. It takes places on the gorgeous Ionian Island off the coast of Greece. It’s hosted in a retreat center on the island with activities curated by Heather Prete. The activities include mindfulness and self-exploration. It’s surrounded by natural beauty and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. For eight days, you can experience this restorative experience. Feel free to roam around and discover beaches and secret coves.

In November, a retreat is being held in Guatemala. They offer vegetarian meals each day and the activities include yoga, meditation and personal development workshops. The destination is Lago Atitlan, Guatemala. The area is believed by the Mayan culture to represent the belly button of the Earth. It’s called Journey to the Heart and will help put you on the right spiritual path.

This last retreat takes place in Costa Rica. At the retreat, they explore the sacred plant, ayahuasca. This is a more niche retreat and focuses on medicine and healing. There you can work on cleansing and healing to develop a greater clarity and feel relief. The activities include meditation, crystal bowl sound baths and pranayama.
