Avalon Coffee in North Wildwood is a popular, enjoyable spot to visit for breakfast before hitting the beach. Grab a breakfast sandwich with two eggs on a bagel from $5.50 and a delicious cup of coffee for only $1.63.
The morning is best spent soaking up some sunshine on Wildwood’s huge stretches of sand. The beaches no longer require visitors to purchase beach tags, so access is complimentary.
Hit up Dogtooth Bar and Grill in the heart of the city for lunch. Starting from about $10, options include crispy calamari, crab cake, wings, a variety of salads and nachos.

Spend the afternoon and evening roaming the gigantic legendary boardwalk, featuring three amusement piers with more than 100 rides and attractions, including world-class rollercoasters and three beachfront waterparks. Each of the three piers — Mariner’s Pier, Surfside Pier and Adventure Pier — offer incredible views of the ocean and all of the Wildwoods.
Visit the waterparks after 3 p.m. to enjoy a discounted ticket price of $25 for adults. If you’d rather enjoy the various rides and attractions on all of the piers, you can purchase a ride pass offering all-day and evening admissions for $55.
The boardwalk provides plenty of options for an inexpensive dinner, including a slice at Mack’s Pizza for about $2 or a corn dog, fresh-cut French fries and freshly squeezed lemonade from Curley’s Fries for about $4.
