The Best of the KAVU Winter Line

There’s a lot to love about Seattle-made KAVU’s line of Northwest-chic clothing and accessories. The made-in-the-U.S.A. clothes are consistently stylish while also being relatively practical for the outdoors. You probably won’t summit Mount Everest in a KAVU shirt, but you’ll look great at a picnic on the beach or on a leisurely bike ride.

This winter, KAVU released a line of fetching items for men and women. Among the standout tops for women are the Heidi Henley, Desolate Zip and the Boy Fran. Though sold out on KAVU’s website due to their enormous popularity, you can still find these shirts through other retailers.

The Heidi Henley is a super-soft Henley-style shirt that comes in green, grey and pink. The curved hem ensures the shirt is flattering while still giving you comfortable coverage — it won’t ride up when you bend over, in other words. The shirt is designed to accentuate curves without being extremely tight.

The Desolate Zip continues KAVU’s tradition of women’s half-zip shirts. These shirts have a thicker material with the company’s trademark reverse cuff sleeves. This season’s winter pattern is reminiscent of a Norwegian sweater, with its black-and-white snowflake-like pattern.

And the Boy Fran shirt is designed to be a loose-fitting garment, but still flattering with its scoop neck design. The shirt is extremely soft and wonderful to be swallowed up in, as long as you can pull off the oversized design.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years. After first announcing the plan in 2021, planes fitted with United’s signature interior are finally beginning to appear across the airline’s narrowbody fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes. United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.
