From the Guinness Storehouse and Dublin Castle to Phoenix Park and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin teems with historic neighborhoods and cultural sights, and a new mobile app makes it easier than ever to explore them all.
Available for iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets, the new app called Dublin Pass contains sightseeing details on featured attractions, regions, themed excursions and transportation services. It also provides practical tourism information like attraction opening times, directions, local climates, public holidays and currency exchanges.
The app includes a QR code users can scan at each location to learn more about it, so enjoy a self-guided tour at your own pace.
A one-day pass is priced around $67 per adult, allowing users to skip lines at attractions including the Dublin Zoo, the popular Dublinia Museum, the James Joyce Centre and Jameson Distillery, to name a few. The pass is available for one, two, three or five days.
Dublin Pass users can also sync the app with the pass to enjoy last-minute special offers on dining experiences, evening activities, tours, daytrips outside of Dublin and more, all based on location.
