Travel gadgets are getting smarter, smaller and more efficient. Countless products have been entering the travel arena to aid in passing through security with flying colors, and Gadget Duck is no exception. Currently featuring two products to make travel easier, Gadget Duck’s Scanner Bag is the second item to be rolled out by the travel gadgetry company.
The Scanner Bag is an average-sized luggage tag that unfolds into a pouch where you can stash small valuables such as your mobile phone, keys and change before walking through the metal detectors. Rather than dumping all your belongings into the deep plastic tubs or smaller plastic dog dishes, keep everything together in the scanner bag to ensure none of your small personal items get away from you while going through security.
The pouch attaches to your carry-on so they travel through the security scanner together. Plus, keeping everything so compact and in one tub saves time at the beginning and end of the security line. While other travelers are scrambling to empty their pockets and flip off their shoes, you will have spent your time in the security line unfolding the ID tag and slipping in your personal items in your luggage-tag-turned-storage-pouch, with absolutely no reason to worry about possible detachment from your carry-on.
Its dual functionality allows it to serve as an identification tag, as well, but by covering your personal details with a black flap. The Scanner Bag comes in a ballistic nylon case with a leather tab for $19.85 or a leather vinyl case for $13.45.
