As far as honeymoon destinations go, the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora can’t be beat. I was thrilled to spend part of my honeymoon at the spectacular property.
Upon arrival at the tiny airport in Bora Bora, Four Seasons staff greeted us with flower leis. We then boarded their private boat to escort us to the property. The brief ride provides stunning views of the island and makes for an unforgettable welcome to the resort.
Once on the property, a member of the staff showed us to our overwater bungalow facing Mount Otemanu. We were left speechless upon arrival to our accommodations. The spacious living room opened to a deck with lounge chairs, a small table with chairs and a private dock for jumping into the water. Each bungalow is also equipped with complimentary snorkeling gear. The bathroom and bedroom both open to the private deck. We utilized the snorkel gear near our bungalow and at the lagoon.
The property offers four separate dining venues, in-bungalow dining and private dining experiences to be arranged via the concierge. Each morning we enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet at Tere Nui. The sushi at Sunset Restaurant & Bar is a standout.
In addition to the beach, pool and lagoon, we took advantage of the spa, 24-hour fitness center and tennis courts. The spa’s steam room and plunge pools are complimentary for all guests. Kayak and stand-up paddleboard use is also complimentary. While the property offers plenty of on-site activities, it is equally as convenient booking an off-site excursion through the concierge team.
If it isn’t already, add a trip to the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora to your bucket list.
