Improving on the classic duffel bag is no mean feat, but that hasn’t stopped a steady stream of companies from attempting to do so. The Hexad is actually a range of three duffel bags: the Hexad Access duffel and two versions of the Hexad Carryall duffel. The Carryall is available in 40-liter and 60-liter models, while the Access duffel can hold 45 liters.

The bags are made with weatherproof materials and feature weatherproof zippers, perfect for outdoor pursuits in bad weather. A padded laptop sleeve keeps your computer safe, while the adjustable sternum strap makes the duffel more comfortable to carry across longer distances.

Photographers will be pleased to hear the Access duffel is compatible with the Hexad camera cubes, designed to keep your DSLR and lenses safe and organized. Side-access pockets make it easier to take your camera out quickly while on the move, and provide easy access to smaller items.

Take the Access duffel as carry-on luggage, or the larger Carryall for hold baggage. The Carryall 60 will retail for $250, and the Carryall 40 for $225. The Access duffel can be yours for $260.

As an update to a classic bag, the Hexad range looks good. The bags haven’t shipped yet following their Kickstarter campaign, but the materials seem durable on paper and the bags are well designed.
