For those who want to stop at all the best restaurants, but don’t want to carve out a huge chunk of time to do so, there’s the new Allset app. The app virtually eliminates all of the waiting from going to a sit-down restaurant.

You use the app to search for a restaurant near you, for a time that works for you. Then, you can choose what you’d like to eat from the regular menu and pay for your food ahead of time. Show up at your chosen time and tell the waiter your name, and they’ll bring out your pre-ordered food. When you’re done, you just get up and leave. There’s no waiting for a check.

For those eating in a group, you can also choose your table size and join a friend’s table by connecting with them on the app, an easy way to handle individual payment for groups dining together, rather than splitting a check.

The service was created specifically to find an easy way to get workers away from their desks for a lunch break, but you can also book other mealtimes. It’s also a handy app for travelers who want to experience the local fare, but have a busy itinerary.

The free app is available for both Apple and Android products. The service is currently only available at restaurants in New York and San Francisco, with plans to expand.
