New Off-Peak Pricing Structure at Disney Parks

Disneyworld is already the happiest place on Earth, but its about to get even happier. All Disney parks are considering initiating off-peak entry fees that will be determined based on demand. These prices, applicable to purchases of season passes and single-day tickets, will be part of a larger effort to lower overall prices yet maximize profit from guests.

Off-peak prices mean prices for days when the park anticipates a high attendance rate will increase while prices will lower for days when attendance is expected to be more sparse. Spring and summer are obviously the busiest seasons for such parks, so the corporation has focused on increasing prices during these dates with the hope they will deter guests from visiting and encourage them to attend during the less-expensive, off-season months. This initiative will hopefully ease the problem of overcrowding during the busy season and spread out the distribution of attendance.

Some of Disney´s new options for season passes will not allow visitors to visit during specific times of the year (e.g., not during Spring Break or Christmas) but they will offer access to the park during other, less busy times of the year. With this new off-peak pricing introducing shorter lines and lower prices, Disney fans may become even happier.

Platform Helps Remote Workers, Business Travelers Find Work-Friendly Hotels

If you’ve ever attempted to work on the go — not necessarily for a business trip, but just because your job offers the flexibility of remote working — you may have struggled with working from your hotel room. Your options are typically plugging your laptop in next to a tiny in-room table, if you’re lucky, or you’re stuck answering emails from your hotel bed — hardly conducive to productivity.
