Adventure tour company Off the Map Travel brings yoga enthusiasts a trip of a lifetime with its Northern Lights for the Soul yoga retreat.
The four-day retreat takes place March 7–11 in Finland. The location offers prime viewing of the natural phenomena. The program invites guests to experience the spiritual side of viewing the Northern Lights and achieve a sense of mindfulness. The retreat includes yoga, meditation, a nutritious menu of local recipes, access to a hot tub and ice bath, relaxation techniques and other fitness and wellness activities.
“Anyone who has experienced the Arctic night sky and the Northern Lights will agree that it is a transcendent experience. Combine this with the isolation and beauty of the Arctic tundra and you have an amazing shift in physical and emotional well-being,” said Jonny Cooper, director, Off the Map Travel. “We want you to leave with a new outlook and mindfulness, feeling energized and touched by the Northern Lights. We see this as a way to help make fundamental changes to your physical and emotional outlook and well-being.”
Pricing for the experience starts around $2,160 per person. Cost includes all meals, private accommodations, daily yoga and meditation sessions, spa access, optional one-on-one mediation sessions with an expert, daily activities and return airport transfers. Flights are not included. For more information, or to book, visit the website.
