T-Mobile Launched Its Own Suitcase

If you’re thinking of a brand that should really get into the luggage game, chances are likely you’re not thinking of T-Mobile. However, that’s exactly what the brand has done, with its new collaboration with Samsara Luggage to release The Un-Carrier On bag.

The smart suitcase is T-Mobile magenta, so it includes features such as wireless and USB-C charging, a flat-top work surface, an interior eight-bag packing set, and Tap Smart technology that tracks the suitcase. T-Mobile says the bag is the only carry-on bag on the market with wireless charging functionality. You can currently preorder the bag for $325, and it’s only available for a limited time, while supplies last.

“I know there’s a lot to unpack here. Why is T-Mobile, a wireless provider, launching a suitcase? Well, we’re the Un-carrier — and travel is kind of our bag. So we made one. A bag. An actual bag,” said Mike Sievert, CEO, T-Mobile. “T-Mobile customers are already covered with the best travel benefits, keeping them connected in America’s skyways and around the world with Coverage Beyond. But in true Un-carrier fashion, we didn’t stop there. We made a smart suitcase to keep your belongings covered, too. Literally.”
