Top 5 / North America

The islands of Hawai’i are known for lush tropical foliage, rugged landscapes and picturesque beaches. With several beaches and islands to choose from, these are some of our favorites.

Hapuna Beach, Hawai’i Island

Located on the western coast of Hawai’i Island on the Kohala coast, Hapuna Beach attracts locals and tourists alike. The summer months are ideal for swimming and bodysurfing.

Papohaku Beach, Molokai

Papohaku Beach is three miles long and about 100 yards wide. This beach tends to be less populated than others, making it ideal for a secluded experience.

Poipu Beach, Kauai

One of Kauai’s most popular beaches, Poipu’s crystal-clear water and natural wading pool make it ideal for swimming beginners and families. Expect to see monk seals and sea turtles in the water.

Waikiki Beach, Oahu

Waikiki Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the world, drawing more than 4 million visitors annually. Located on Oahu’s southern shoreline, the beach is home to several luxury resorts.

Wailea Beach, Maui

Luxury hotels line Wailea Beach. The beach features large black lava points. During the winter months, you may see whales from the shore. There is also plenty to do off the beach, including visiting shops and restaurants.
