While it bears the name of its PBS counterpart, Austin City Limits is much more than the rock-leaning artists showcased on the television series. Held in Zilker Park, the ACL Music Festival features two weekends of music spanning rock, hip-hop, R&B, pop and more.

In addition to music, this event has a variety of activities for festivalgoers. The ACL Art Market is held in the center of the grounds and allows local artists to showcase their work, giving people something unique to buy as a souvenir instead of the standard t-shirt and glow stick. Austin Eats is the event’s food festival which splits into three sections: the Barton Springs Beer Hall, Hope Farmers Market and the Chef Showcase which offers meals prepared by renowned chefs from the Austin Food + Wine Festival.
Austin City Limits also gives back the community through its ACL Cares program, which partnered with a number of local and national organizations to organize attendees and make a difference. Austin City Limits is also partnered with the Austin Parks Foundation, which works to improve the city’s open spaces. In its history, Austin City Limits raised more than $10 million for the foundation.
