As a female traveler, it can be difficult to find gear adapted to your specific body shape and needs.
While some of the large outdoor brands have made an effort to provide backpacks fitted to females, Bravebird went one step further. The company created two resizeable backpacks that can be adapted to many different situations, both designed specifically for women.
In fact, the bag is able to change from a backpack to a shoulder bag to a handbag, thanks to a system of withdrawable straps. This also means you can check into a swanky hotel once in a while without looking like a crusty backpacker. To further enhance the chameleon-like properties of the bag, it is made from a trendy material in muted colors, which suggests sophistication rather than screaming smelly hiking boots.
Both the big bag and the small bag are extendable, offering greater capacity depending on usage. Inside the bags are a number of smaller pockets which allow for better organization of your little items, rather than a cavernous pocket in which to lose everything.
As well as the well-designed bags, there are a number of matching accessories which are included in the basic package. The first is a camera pouch which fits inside the bottom or the top pocket of the backpack, but remains easy to remove.
The second is a clutch bag which matches the main backpack and can be used to transport small items you might want to take out in the evening. Finally, a rain cover is included to protect the bag from surprise downpours while you are on the move.
In the smallest configuration, the two packs provide 61 liters of space, while they can be extended to provide a maximum of 86 liters. If normal rucksacks aren’t working out for you, it’s worth checking out Bravebird.
