XfinityLive Endless Summer Concert

XfinityLive, near the sports stadiums in Philadelphia, is a fun-filled center with five different themed bars, food options from well-known Philly restaurants and entertainment to keep visitors energized throughout the night. The venue hosts many events, from football viewing parties and birthdays to fundraisers and concerts.

I attended the Radio 104.5 Endless Summer Show at XfinityLive. The weather was perfect for the event. Although it was called Endless Summer, clouds hid the sun and it was not very summer like. The overcast made viewing the bands easier without sun beaming into our eyes. Even though the weather is unpredictable, it just made the event seem a lot nicer than standing in the cold or burning under the hot sun.

We arrived around noon, when the show began, and watched the first performance from The Unlikely Candidates. The venue was full of people but did not feel overcrowded. We had enough space for our whole group to stand and jump around as we pleased. This continued throughout the day as we walked around, saw other performers and grabbed some food. I had a cheesesteak from Geno’s and my friend ordered the deep-fried Bavarian pretzels. The food was slightly pricey, but worth it.

The other performers, like The Wonder Years, Two Feet and the Bleachers, performed and sounded awesome. We were able to leave the venue and the city without waiting in a long line of traffic. I enjoy going to Radio 104.5 shows, as most of them are free to attend.
