The seaside town of Lyme Regis is a summer paradise with its traditional harbor, seafront and old-world town center.
At the heart of the action is the Cobb Arms, which sits right behind the famous Cobb Wall of the harbor. You can sit outside and look over the rows of bobbing boats while you enjoy a cold drink or order some food from the extensive menu.
Inside, the pub is attractively decorated with a light nautical theme. There are plenty of tables to eat and drink, as well as a pool table in the front bar area. Overall, it’s a great pub for families and groups, so everyone can enjoy themselves.
If you are walking the Jurassic Coast and need somewhere to stay, the Cobb Arms also has three rooms for let above the pub. Not only will you be able to get to bed easily after a few drinks, but you’ll wake up to amazing views over Lyme Bay.
We had a few drinks on a busy Sunday and the service was efficient and friendly. A pint of Kronenbourg lager costs $5.20, fairly reasonable in a tourist town like Lyme Regis. All in all, the Cobb Arms is highly recommended.
