Bachelorette parties don’t all have to be in Las Vegas. If you’re dropping the dimes and wanting to plan something memorable, sometimes traveling abroad can be just as cheap if not cheaper than traveling within the States.
Iceland? Yes! Iceland! It’s surprisingly cheap to get there in the summer months. You can usually find round-trip tickets for at most $500, and you’ll get your money’s worth in the first day strolling through the green pastures in incredible waterfalls followed by a midnight sun. It has a little something for everyone. If you’re active, hike the glaciers. If you want to relax, hang out in the geothermal pools overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery you’ll ever see.
Flights from the United States to Costa Rica can sometimes drop to as low as $300 round-trip if you search diligently. You can find incredibly luxurious Airbnbs and hotels right on the water usually for less than $50 per night. With the lush surrounding jungles, you can’t pass up a zip-line tour through the rainforests.
Montreal is a Canadian treasure with a European-esque city layout that’s bustling with the spirit of a fun-loving charmer. Any foodie will drool at the gourmet selections in their always innovative food scene. If you live on the East Coast, it’s a short drive, otherwise flights are about as much as they would be to any eastern city.
