While it may be closed at the moment because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, EPCOT is one of Walt Disney World’s main parks and, within the next couple years, it will look different. EPCOT recently announced new changes, with more coming.

The park entrance is undergoing renovations. The Leave a Legacy walls that lined the entrance are being removed and replaced with beautiful green spaces to resemble the original park entrance. There is also going to be a stunning, new, reimagined fountain to replace the one currently in front of Spaceship Earth.

As you continue through the park, you enter what is known as Future World, also undergoing a major overhaul. They are removing restaurants and pavilions to make way for bigger and better things, like an interactive, city-like play pavilion yet to be named that pays tribute to Walt Disney’s original plans for EPCOT.

Future World will be home to the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy-themed roller coaster, taking the place of Ellen’s Energy Adventure. Another exciting addition is a new space-themed, table-service restaurant that will make you feel like you are actually eating in space.

Now, let’s not forget about the World Showcase. The France Pavilion is getting a new ride based off the movie Ratatouille called Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. And there are also rumors a new country will be added
