North America

Is it the Dolly-days or the holidays — or both? At Kingston Resorts, ring in the holiday season with Happy Dolly-days celebrations, through Jan. 19, 2023, all inspired by Dolly Parton. Take a holiday vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and enjoy Dolly-themed suites, Queen of Country-inspired food and beverage menus, and other festivities.

The Happy Dolly-days suite, inspired by Parton’s love of Christmas and the holiday season, is decked in pink, rhinestones, trees and wreaths, lights and Dolly artwork. Each suite comes with festive take-home goodies, like a Dolly Parton-themed tote, her favorite sugar cookie recipe, chocolate-covered cherries, drink tickets for Dolly Parton cocktails or mocktails, and more. Suite reservations are available through Dolly’s birthday on Jan. 19, with rates starting at $249 per night.

At Black Drum Brewing every weekend, enjoy weekly Dolly-inspired cocktail specials and Dolly’s Table Sunday Suppers, featuring rotating menus and live entertainment by local bluegrass and country bands. Kids can write letters to Santa over Dolly Duncan Hines cookie-decorating classes, hot chocolate and s’mores, and watching Dolly Christmas movies including Unlikely Angel, Christmas of Many Colors and more.

Spa33 delivers seasonal treatment specials like the Island in the Stream 60-minute signature massage, a Why Did You Come in Here Looking Like That 60-minute signature facial, and a Jolene Please Don’t Take My Man-icure. Repeat the Here You Come Again special and receive 20 percent off any one service.

Platform Helps Remote Workers, Business Travelers Find Work-Friendly Hotels

If you’ve ever attempted to work on the go — not necessarily for a business trip, but just because your job offers the flexibility of remote working — you may have struggled with working from your hotel room. Your options are typically plugging your laptop in next to a tiny in-room table, if you’re lucky, or you’re stuck answering emails from your hotel bed — hardly conducive to productivity.
