Products / Travel

When you’re on the road, sticking to a consistent workout routine can be a challenge. But by packing a few essentials in your bag, it’s a cinch to stay in shape wherever you are. Check out three favorites.

Sneakers

Pack your favorite kicks and log some miles. Running through a new city is a wonderful way to explore and get a feel for your new surroundings while getting in a workout — you can go as quickly or slowly as you’d like for as long as you want. Some places even offer running tours: search for your next destination at City Running Tours or Go! Running Tours.

Yoga Mat

Taking a lightweight travel mat means you can get your Namaste on anywhere you go. Travel yoga mats versions are easy to carry and weigh less than traditional mats. They also provide a workout space for bodyweight exercises and cardio routines.

Resistance Band

Luggage is heavy enough without adding weights. Luckily, resistance bands are easy to slip into your bag and weigh next to nothing. They can elevate your favorite exercises into calorie-torching work and turn a hotel room into your own personal workout studio. Some resistance bands pack more, well, resistance, than others, so make sure you’ve grabbed the strength that’s right for you.

The Argosaronic Islands Are Calling

The Saronic or Argo Saronic Islands of Greece call travelers to explore its seven small islands and islets brimming with history, natural sites and more. With most easily accessible by boat, the islands’ proximity to ports of Athens make the Saronic Islands an ideal destination for those preferring shorter boat rides. In fact, trips from Athens ports to the islands take only between 10 minutes and two hours, depending on the island you choose, making them perfect for day or weekend trips.
