Brightline and Uber announced a new partnership to make getting around South Florida seamless and convenient. The collaboration offers guests a familiar rideshare option within the Brightline app, making it easier to get to and from five South Florida Brightline stations. The partnership is designed to meet customer demand and enhance Brightline+, a mobility service with airport shuttles, event shuttles and electric golf carts.
Brightline+ was launched in 2021 and received rapid adoption, with nearly one-third of the Brightline riders using the service. The partnership with Uber seeks to expand Brightline+’s fleet of mobility options and offer access to rides at an affordable price. This is the first time Uber has been linked directly to an intercity high-speed rail service in the United States.
“It is critical to our guest experience that access to our stations is convenient and seamless,” said Patrick Goddard, president, Brightline. “This partnership meets our guests’ preferences and demands by unlocking an online fleet of vehicles to provide a door-to-door service when using Brightline.”
To book a ride, guests can add a private or shared Uber ride to their train ticket when purchasing on the Brightline app or website. The in-app booking service is designed to eliminate guests’ wait times and ensure a ride awaits curbside to take travelers to their destination.

Apr 30, 2025Platform Helps Remote Workers, Business Travelers Find Work-Friendly Hotels
If you’ve ever attempted to work on the go — not necessarily for a business trip, but just because your job offers the flexibility of remote working — you may have struggled with working from your hotel room. Your options are typically plugging your laptop in next to a tiny in-room table, if you’re lucky, or you’re stuck answering emails from your hotel bed — hardly conducive to productivity.
