Japan

In 2023, Japan is finally opening to travelers worldwide after nearly three years. Visitors will be able to stay in luxury in Kyoto at the brand-new Aman Kyoto and The Ritz-Carlton or the smaller, exclusive Shinmonzen. Remote Lands will take travelers far beyond typical experiences in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka; book a summer getaway to Tohoku; learn about the country’s history in Kyushu; or hit the slopes in Hokkaido.

 

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is a rising destination for travelers. Those looking for an adventure can explore the region’s registered UNESCO World Heritage sites, offering rich heritage and stunning landscapes. Bhutan

The Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan is ready for travelers to explore the relatively untouched land in 2023. The Stans

In 2023, Remote Lands will offer a two-week Pan Stans: Country Collecting in Central Asia itinerary that will take travelers to various countries along the historic Silk Road. The route, through Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, features ancient commercial hubs, harsh deserts, stunning steppes, beautiful mountains, long valleys and important historical centers of Islamic study.
