Australia is surrounded by water. The country is known for its beach and surf culture lifestyle. This attracts people from all over, wanting to visit Australia and get a beautiful view of the ocean. Australia is unique because it’s home to the Great Barrier Reef, gorgeous when captured in photos or in person. There are many different spots throughout the country that offer amazing views of the ocean. These breathtaking views captivate visitors and leave them speechless. Sometimes reaching these viewpoints is also an adventure in itself, making the entire experience more enjoyable.
Castle Hill in Queensland’s Townsville is a gorgeous peak that offers spectacular views of the city and the ocean. The peak is 286 meters tall and gives visitors a bird’s eye view. There a few trails that lead to this spot and it’s accessible by car so even people who don’t want to hike can visit the summit. Take plenty of pictures at the top; the best times of day to visit are during sunset or sunrise.
Deep in the Freycinet National Park, there is a trail which leads to an opening with a great view of the bay. Wineglass Bay is a picture-perfect bay with clear blue waters. The bay is a two-hour drive from Launceston and then requires additional walking to reach the peak. The path is easy to follow and well worn from the travelers who made the trek before.
Capture a beautiful photo of the cliffs of Australia at Head of Bight at the Southern Coast. It looks like it’s the end of the continent. The jagged cliffs stretch on for miles and then below them is the ocean. It’s a great view and from June to September visitors might catch glimpses of the Southern Right Whales.
