You might’ve seen the popular TV show American Ninja Warrior that’s been gaining traction here in the States the last couple of years. If you’ve ever thought it would be fun to experience an obstacle course like the ones seen on the show, here’s your chance.

Ninja Warrior Gyms have been popping up all across the country and can now be found in cities throughout 10 different states including Texas, California, Florida and New Jersey. Some of the most popular include Tempest Academy, Movement Lab and Apex Movement, though they’re primarily parkour gyms with Ninja Warrior-themed training courses.

The idea behind the gyms is to, what else, train to make your way onto American Ninja Warrior. They’ll teach you how to scale the Warped Wall, increase your upper body strength by traversing rings and bars, leap frog of the Salmon Ladder and increase your overall core fitness strength.

The gyms are typically open to people of all ages and promote a strong community vibe. The obstacles aren’t always exact replicas, but they’re close enough to help you achieve the skills necessary to master the ones they use on the show. Most of all, the gyms are designed to let you have fun while getting in shape.
