The Los Angeles phenomenon of brunch is a luxurious, laidback affair. While most A-listers flock to the same eateries, there are many unexpected, undiscovered brunch spots waiting for you this weekend.
For a throwback to the East Coast, visit the Nickel Diner in downtown Los Angeles. The diner serves breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. For a relaxing brunch before 11:30 a.m., try Café Vida. Their menu focuses on healthful cuisine. Order the delicious blueberry corn cakes, topped with maple syrup and powdered sugar.
